A Mongo seating object that was used as a backrest to be leant on (when the upper surface is turned onto its side edge).
With centrally positioned heavy rectangular feet with a broad surface above for leaning on.
The upper surface is decorated with geometric linear patterns crafted in chip-carving relief, and is well worn. The middle protrusion on the right side is long gone.
Seated, one can balance on the central uprights, or the stool can be tipped on one end to form a backrest.
