Combining the colorful love ( aka Christmas beads) chevron seed beads from Ghana, with the larger wedding beads which are all hand-made, and are presented to brides on their wedding days. They were made in the 19th century in what was once known as Czechoslovakia, for trade in Africa. They are worn throughout West Africa, specifically in Mali. These beads are multicolored and are shaped like a flat, bubble. These beads are greatly treasured and worn by Fulani women.
38 1/2" end to end, 19" from top to bottom, so it is long enough to even double.
