As with most trade beads, these were made in Murano (Venice) Italy in the 1800's., and were used to trade in Africa.
Flush eye is used to describe an "eye" pressed into the bead whilst hot so that it is not raised.
There are also a few black rattlesnake Venetian trade beads.
About 75 beads on the strand.
