Hand-turned by trained Indonesian
artisans. Tamarind is a beautiful exotic
wood often found laying on the forest
floor. The rotting effect on Tamarind
creates the spalted look that varies from
piece to piece. The wood is very hard
so the artisan must have great skill when
turning the vase so it does not shatter.
We have had this piece for over 30 years, and are only now making it available.
