Holly Masterson is an honors graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She designs jewelry in a style she calls "ancient contemporary". Using modern fabrication techniques, she combines such artifacts as ancient coins, rare stones, Egyptian glass, and tribal currencies to make unique, visually rich pieces.
This necklace consists of 10 pieces of currency shell from Papua New Guinea separated by sterling silver hoops. The necklace measures 23" from end to end. The shells are approximately 1.5" in diameter.
NOTE: We also have a matching bracelet consisting of 3 shells.
