Pair of Cowrie Shell Anklets - Kuba People of D.R. Congo

Cowrie Shell Anklets such as these were worn by royalty of the Kuba people.
Collected over 50 years ago by a Belgian living in the D.R. Congo.

Length including ties is 15", and without them is 7 3/4". Width is 2".
