The primary religion practiced by the Nankana is animism, a religious
worldview that natural physical entities including animals, plants, and
even inanimate objects possess a spiritual essence. Like the Nankana,
the Kasena (or Kassena) create beautiful jewelry to honor the spirits.
These are characterized by their widely projecting, triangular side surfaces.
