Solid bronze or brass wiith a stylized animal head and a swirl motif. Pendant is on a hand made copper chain. Possibly from the Toba Batak people of northern Sumatra.
The Toba Batak developed a bold jewelry style and managed to keep it alive despite foreign influences, primarily from India.
Pendant measures 2 1/2" in height x 7/8" width x 5/8" depth.
Chain is 14 1/2" in length.
