Love Letter is made by the woman and given to the man she is interested in and she tells her story of interest to him with the beading.
Not having a written language, the Zulu developed a form of symbolism in their beadwork. Beads that speak. The colors as well as color combinations and patterns, particularly in adornments which were made as love tokens, all have meaning.
