Food bowls or Tazawat are used for the preparation and serving of food. Like other Tuareg utilitarian pieces, the bowls are carefully incised with geometric designs. It is not uncommon to see native repairs made from metal strips to extend the life of the object.
This is a particularly beautiful and large bowl, and was in the collection of Valerie Barnard Webster (Since 1997).
Dimensions: 9" H x 19 1/2" Diameter.
