Vintage 2-layer Venetian glass trade beads. Cornaline d’Aleppo beads have a white core and a dark red finish. These round beads both large and small are great for use in jewelry making and beading.

Dating back to the late 19th century, the Cornaline d'aleppo beads are some of the most treasured beads amongst collectors because of their rich color. Cornaline is the French and Italian word for carnelian, and it is believed that these beads got their name because they resembled the red color of carnelian.
