Masks of the We people are employed in
the settlement of disputes and in ceremonies that convey
moral messages. Miscellaneous objects and material are
added to their strong features to increase their spiritual power.
The teeth are made from aluminum and the mask is edged in
human hair and large brass bells. It is nonthreatening and is
referred to as a female mask.
