The beautifully patinated handle has the overall shape of a Tibetan phurba, or three sided ritual dagger, and is richly decorated.
it is probably from the Magar region of the Himalayas.
Tibetan drums were called Dhyangro, and are believed to be
able to make contact with spirits.
