Unfortunately the cape that this was originally attached to was so deteriorated, but we were able to salvage this part, which is the beadwork, with Turquoise, Navy Blue and Purple colors. The cape itself is a most unusual garment that the Ndebele would wear, so it must have belonged to someone of a high status.
As with all old beadwork like this that was worn, it is priced as is for obvious reasons. 10 1/2 in length x 1 1/2" in height.
