We acquired this piece from the Richard Siegel collection, which comprised mostly of pieces of African art, but we loved the look of this piece, and the rest as they say, is history.....
We know nothing about this other than the fact that it looks to be of Asian origin, and looks to have had brass closures attached on the lid at one time. It has 3 wooden legs, and the body of the container is ridged. The lid is easily removable. Great for storage, or a multiple of purposes.
Height: 16" x Diameter: 14", and with legs, 17"
