These pestles, of very hard wood,
were used to grind grain and
other foods in large mortars.
The patina on the wood shows
years of use. These every day
utilitarian objects were both
functional and aesthetically
beautiful in shape and form.
Dimensions: 28" H and 3" in Diameter, and is mounted on a metal base.
