Berber women can spend a month preparing the wool, & another
actually weaving their remarkable rugs. An authentic Berber rug
represents a tradition handed down from generation to generation.
Handwoven Berber rugs, or carpets, are prized for their beauty
and craftsmanship. Their value has been prized through the ages,
from the days when they could be counted among the few luxury
possessions of semi-nomadic people. They embody the spirit,
history & magic of the Berber people.
