Hand crafted glass trade beads with white centers, hence the name white hearts.
Venetian-made from the mid 1800's which were traded in West Africa.
These strands are not intended to be ready-to-wear. Although the strands can be worn "as is," the raffia holding them together is not durable and may break with use. For this reason, we recommend that you restring the beads before wearing them.
Each bead is about ⅛" and the strands are about 22 - 24" in length.
