Collection of 26 antique oblong shape dark Aventurine beads.
These are great quartzite beads to make into a necklace.
Green Aventurine had rating of 7 on the Mohs scale, so it is hard.
Beads have shiny surface. (This glistening effect has been termed aventurescence.) Sometimes confused with bloodstone,amazonite and jade.
Size varies between 3/4" - 1 ½" x width of 1/4" - ½" (+-35mm-10mm).
